About Atlantic Blue
Atlantic Blue moved to the Clarence Valley, NSW in 2020 — a studio built around one simple belief: that what surrounds us, especially the things closest to our families, should be made from natural materials, by hand, with care.
Natural fibres, always
Every piece starts with the same question: is this fibre kind to the planet and the people who use it? Linen, wool, organic cotton, hemp — and wherever possible, fabric and materials given a second life rather than sent to landfill.
Two ways we make
Our everyday range — linen bags, home furnishings, and pieces for little rooms — uses consistent natural fibres and is made in partnership with a small team of local home sewers, so we can offer it at a fair, accessible price without compromising on quality or values.
Our one-of-a-kind pieces are made by hand, by founder Kirsten, from materials that simply can't be standardised — up-cycled seatbelts, remnant wool blankets, leftover linen. Because the source material is never quite the same twice, no two of these pieces ever will be either.
Beyond the studio
We also run sewing and craft workshops from Yamba, sharing the same slow, considered approach to making that shapes everything we sell.
Meet our team
Say hello to our founder, Kirsten — the heart and soul behind Atlantic Blue Australia.
Originally from Europe and now proudly based in Clarence Valley, Kirsten has spent years bringing together her three passions: the environment, teaching, and sewing. Working from her studio on the NSW coast, she creates pieces using sustainably sourced fabrics — simple, functional, and kind to the planet. It's this blend of care for the planet, a love of teaching, and a lifelong passion for sewing that gives Atlantic Blue Australia its purpose: practical, sustainable pieces for families everywhere.
Behind the Scenes: Jay & Em
Behind the brand, Jay and Em bring it all to life. With a combined ten years in consumer goods between them, they make sure everything we share looks and feels the way it should. Em's background in fashion design adds a sharp eye for style, while Jay keeps the bigger picture in focus — together, they're the team making sure Atlantic Blue's story reaches the people who'll love it.
